  • Use of content analysis to identify how teacher-student interaction patterns change when university lecturers teach their courses in both conventional and distance learning environments.
    Using cross-modal research findings to improve design and evaluation of online courses
  • Use of content analysis to identify cross-modal changes in written and spoken English academic discourse.
    Using research on cross-modal changes in written and spoken English academic discourse to design online courses for improving non-native English speakers’ oral presentation skills.
  • Design and development of electronic learner’s dictionary for acquisition of high-frequency academic vocabulary
  • Design of text-profiling and annotated glossary options to support academic reading comprehension Use of avatars to facilitate comprehension of academic texts in English
