I am a senior lecturer in philosophy.

My primary areas of research are virtue ethics, political philosophy and the philosophy of sport, which I approach primarily using tools from the analytic philosophy tradition. My research emphasizes the relations between social practices and moral character. I've written about these topics both in scholarly journals and in popular media outlets.
