26 50 Years of Opportunity at the OUI The Academica in High School Program empowers exceptionally bright and motivated high school students to accelerate their academic journey. By combining regular high school studies with university-level courses at the Open University of Israel, students can accumulate credits towards a bachelor’s degree, even converting high school studies and matriculation exams into academic credits. This groundbreaking program has been offering diverse academic options for over a decade, enabling curious young minds to explore their passions and gain a head start on their academic quest. Through collaboration with the Ministry of Education, the Council for Higher Education, the National Economic Council, and academic institutions, the program has successfully supported over 2500 students annually, providing them with the opportunity to unlock their full potential and achieve academic excellence early in life.
