As conflict continues to rage throughout the Middle East, it appears the struggle will be along and painful one. This detailed book begins with the period immediately following the death of the 'father of Zionism', Theodore Herzl, and provides an important exploration of the historical and political background that colors the Arab-Israeli conflict. From Chaim Weizmann and Lord Balfour, to Yasser Arafat and Bill Clinton3; from the Partition Plan, to the Six Day War, to the Oslo peace process, The Rape of Palestine explores fluctuations and changes in policy during the twentieth century, and their consequences that are unfolding to this day.

Lionel I. Casper was born in Scotland in 1941, and was raised in the UK and Israel. He currently resides in Jerusalem and engages in the fields of real estate and hi-tech.
