The research explores demographic variables such as age, organizational role, prior experience with VR training, and type of training (For example: shooting simulations, emergency scenarios) to identify how each of these factors contributes to shaping officers’ perceptions of the use of this technology. The main research question is: Which factors explain police officers’ attitudes toward the use of virtual reality for training purposes? The research employed a quantitative method using structured questionnaires administered to 102 police officers who participated in VR training, aiming to provide insights into the opportunities and challenges associated with implementing this technology in police training programs. The findings of the study indicated a strong relationship between the user experience and positive perspectives toward the training, as well as differences in perspectives based on the type of training, particularly between shooting training and other types. The study highlights the need to adapt the type of training to the professional needs of police officers and emphasizes the significant potential of virtual reality as a complementary tool to field training, capable of enhancing the effectiveness of instruction and increasing officers’ readiness to handle complex operational situations. Keywords: Virtual Reality, Police Training, User Experience, Professional Training.
