Areas of Interest
  • Environmental and Resource Economics
  • Behavioral and Experimental Economics
  • Data-sharing and Technology Innovation for the environment
  • Sustainability and Climate Change

I am a behavioral economist using controlled experiments to study issues mainly related to environmental economics and sustainability. I hold a PhD in Economics from the University of Kiel, Germany, a European Master's in Law and Economics, and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Haifa, Israel.

My research has been published in journals such as Nature Communications, European Economic Review, Journal of the Association of Environmental and Resource Economists, Journal of Environmental Economics & Management, Experimental Economics, Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, and Environmental & Resource Economics. I currently serve as an Associate Editor of npj Climate Action (Nature Portfolio Journal).

Beyond academic research, I am interested in the practical application of behavioral and experimental methods. I served as academic advisor to a European Commission project on geographical indication regulation, I am a founding member of SINE, a Berlin-based think-and-do tank on data-sharing solutions, and I consult startups on go-to-market strategies.
