45 budget, and determine payments, establish directives regarding scholarships, grants and prizes for various purposes and engage in any act he/she deems necessary and expedient for the proper management of the University and the protection of its interests. 5.4.4.3 The President is responsible for the implementation of resolutions of the Council and the Executive Committee. 5.4.4.4 The President shall act as Chairman of the Senate and the Faculty Council. 5.4.4.5 The President shall submit to the Council, at the end of each academic year, an annual report summarizing the University's activities for that year. 5.4.4.6 The President shall appoint the Director General and Legal Advisor with the approval of the Executive Committee. 5.4.4.7 The President shall appoint a Student Ombudsman. 5.4.4.8 Subject to that which is stated in Paragraph 5.3.4.2, the President may delegate his/her powers to an Office Holder of the University in a written document, except for powers determined by the Executive Committee as such that may not be delegated. 5.4.4.9 The President may remove from office an Office Holder appointed by him/her, after conducting a hearing.
