This notice of funding opportunity (NOFO) encourages applications for research in cancer control and population sciences. The overarching goal is to provide support to promote research efforts on novel scientific ideas that have the potential to substantially advance cancer research in statistical and analytic methods, epidemiology, cancer survivorship, cancer-related behaviors and behavioral interventions, health care delivery, digital health and data science, and implementation science.

Pfizer and Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMS) are collaborating to provide grant support for continuing professional education in the areas of atrial fibrillation and venous thromboembolism. We are committed to supporting innovative, independent medical education for healthcare professionals.

Specific Area of Interest: Projects that will be considered for support will focus on improving the care of patients by addressing knowledge gaps in Atrial Fibrillation and stroke prevention or Venous Thromboembolism or both areas.


Funding Range and Project Length
The maximum individual grant ammount under this RFP will be up to $300,000 USD for initiatives with large potential, reach and impact. 
Smaller grant budgets will be considered. Requests for regional/multi-country educational proposals are within scope, however, singlecountry programs will not be considered. The estimated total available budget related to this RFP is $600,000.

משרד החדשנות, המדע והטכנולוגיה שותף לקול קורא M-ERA.Net 2024 בהשתתפות של למעלה מ-25 מדינות אירופאיות כחלק מתוכנית הורייזון אירופה.

M-ERA.Net הוא מיזם אירופאי התומך בשותפויות בנושא מדע החומרים וסוללות בהתאם למדיניות האירופאית להפחתת גזי החממה, על ידי סיוע בתיאום בין תוכניות מחקר אירופיות ומימון נלווה במדעי החומרים וההנדסה בדרך של הפעלת קונסורציום של המדינות החברות וארגוני מימון מרחבי העולם.

נושאי הקול הקורא לשנת 2024 הם:
1. Sustainable advanced materials for energy
2. Innovative surfaces, coatings and interfaces
3. High performance composites
4. Functional materials
5. Materials addressing environmental challenges
6. Next-generation materials for advanced electronics

במסגרת קול קורא זה יש להקים קונסורציום הכולל לא פחות מ- 3 מדינות ולהגיש קדם הצעות מחקר על פי ההוראות באתר הקרן.

המשרד יתמוך בשותף הישראלי בקונסורציום בתקציב של 100,000 יורו (400,000 ₪) לתקופה של שלוש שנים.

משרד החדשנות, המדע והטכנולוגיה פרסם קול קורא להגשת הצעות מחקר במסגרת תכנית למימון מחקרי הוכחת היתכנות במוסדות המתוקצבים ע"י ות"ת לשנת 2024.

הוועדה לתכנון ותקצוב (להלן - "ות"ת") ומשרד החדשנות, המדע והטכנולוגיה (להלן- משרד המדע) מעוניינים לתמוך במשותף בביצוע הוכחת היתכנות למחקר מדעי ואקדמי מצוין, בעל פוטנציאל ליישום מסחרי, במוסדות להשכלה גבוהה המתוקצבים ע"י ות"ת, באמצעות הפעלה של מנגנון ומערכת תמיכה מוסדיים (פרוט מטה). 
יודגש כי קול קורא זה בא לתמוך במחקר בשלב הוכחת היתכנות בלבד (POC: Proof of Concept). כלומר, מחקר בו אין גוף מסחרי המעוניין להשקיע (מפאת רמת הבשלות הטכנולוגית). שלב ה-POC הינו קריטי לקידום פרויקטים יישומיים לרמה בה הם יכולים לעניין גורם עסקי, אך סובל מכשל שוק מובנה מעצם העובדה שמדובר בשלב מקדמי בו כלל לא ברור אם ניתן להפוך את הרעיונות לפרויקטים מסחריים. מקימי התכנית מניחים שמימון שלב זה במחקר אינו מתאים לקרנות המימון הקיימות שעיקרן עידוד פריצת דרך מחקרית. מצד שני שלב המחקר עדיין מוקדם מכדי לערב גורמים מסחריים.
מטרת התכנית המשותפת הינה להוות גשר בין המחקר הבסיסי בעל פוטנציאל היישום, למחקר שיכול לעניין גורם מסחרי או ציבורי, ולהוות בהמשך מטרה למסחור ידע בערך גבוה ע"י חברות היישום השונות. 
יודגש כי הקול הקורא פתוח לכל תחומי הדעת האקדמיים, אך הצעת המחקר נדרשת להיות בעלת פוטנציאל יישומי ברור (תעשייתי, ציבורי או חברתי).
