Acknowledgments I extend my deepest gratitude to all those who accompanied me throughout the three-year journey of creating this exhibition: Carmit Blumensohn, curator of the exhibition, who led us with confidence, paving the way through the labyrinths of the Open University, opening doors, and moving mountains; Prof. Hava Aldoubi, who laid the foundation for the digital platform and the exhibition in the gallery; Binya Reches Barak Brinker Yonatan Honig Lital Mondrer Bar Levi Lotem Zerahia Edan Sasson My thanks as well to the staff of the Open University who took part in the project, and to the installation team whose work made the exhibition possible in the gallery. Special thanks to Prof. Eran Neuman for writing the catalog text. Finally, my deepest gratitude goes to the one who is always by my side; an active partner and a steadfast source of support, both technological and emotional – Omri Palmon. Mali De-Kalo This catalogue is dedicated to Prof. Hava Aldouby, who has served as artistic director of the OUI Gallery over the past decade. Hava directed the gallery and nurtured it as if it were her own. She guided projects through every stage with persistence, propelling them forward, generating new ideas, and dedicating herself wholeheartedly to the gallery’s development. Above all, she instilled in me, as a curator, the belief that “no” is never the final answer – only, “It’s not simple, but it’s worth trying.” Together, with consistency and conviction, we advanced the gallery, establishing it as a significant presence in the Israeli art scene and accomplishing a great deal along the way. Without Hava’s deep commitment, unwavering care, and constant striving for excellence, none of this would have been possible. Thank you, Hava. Carmit Blumensohn
