Research Interests

I am a senior faculty member at the Open University of Israel, Computer Science Division. In general I am interested in Computer Vision and Computer Graphics. Specifically, in recent years I have worked on problems related to the following topics (in no particular order):

Image similarity
Single view 3D reconstruction
Texture synthesis and image holefilling
Image descriptors
Non-parametric methods
Subspace representations
New view synthesis (image based rendering)
Triangulated mesh composition
3D model decoration
