Research Interests

I am a senior faculty member at the Open University of Israel, Computer Science Division. My research interests are mainly Computer Vision and Computer Graphics. In recent years I have worked on problems related to the following topics, in no particular order:

Face recognition
Subspace representations
Single view 3D reconstruction
Image similarity
Image descriptors
Non-parametric methods
New view synthesis (image based rendering)
Triangulated mesh composition
3D model decoration
