The Research Center for Innovation in Learning Technologies Hosts Prof. Lalo Salmerón

The Research Center for Innovation in Learning Technologies was pleased to host Prof. Lalo Salmerón for a seminar as part of its ongoing lecture series. Prof. Salmerón delivered an engaging talk titled “Enhancing Digital Reading Comprehension Through Adaptive Feedback: A Large and Long-Term Dynamic Program for High School Students." In his lecture, he presented findings from a large-scale intervention with high school learners, exploring how different types of adaptive feedback can effectively support digital reading comprehension.

During his visit, Prof. Salmerón was introduced to the Center's diverse research activities and toured the Shoham Center, which develops and integrates technological and pedagogical solutions for academic courses. He also met with graduate students and faculty members to discuss potential avenues for future international collaboration.

Prof. Salmerón is a Full Professor at the University of Valencia, a researcher at ERI Lectura, a former Fulbright Scholar, President-Elect of SEPEX, and a member of the OECD PISA 2029 expert group on reading, specializing in reading comprehension with a focus on digital learning environments.
