Prof. Elishai Ezra Tsur

Prof. Elishai Ezra Tsur is an associate professor in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at The Open University of Israel, where he heads the Neuro & Biomorphic Engineering Lab (NBEL-lab.com). Elishai is also the head of the university's new graduate program in machine learning and big data. His research focuses on the realm of brain-inspired machines. He utilizes artificial brains to develop new frameworks for robotics and vision processing. Elishai has a BSc in Life sciences, a BA in Philosophy and History, an MSc in Computer Science, an MA in Neuropsychology, MSc and PhD degrees in Bioengineering, and a Postdoc in Computational Neuroscience.
